CM Ashok Gehlot and former CM Vasundhara Raje travelled in the same flight but did not talk with each other

On Wednesday, CM (Chief Minister) Ashok Gehlot, and the former CM Vasundhara Raje were travelling in the same flight from New Delhi to Jaipur, but the two did not talk with each other.

CM Gehlot and former CM Raje landed in Jaipur on Wednesday afternoon.

During an interview with the media, CM Ashok Gehlot said, “Raje was in the business class while I was in the economy class. I did not know she was sitting in the front. Had I known it, I would have gone and spoken to her.”

During the interview, CM Ashok Gehlot also mentioned about his thoughts about the new EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines) as there are many complaints that are being registered about them.

He added, “In Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, strong security should be provided to safeguard EVMs. I believe courts too have accepted that EVMs can be tampered with. So, they have brought in VVPAT. If EVMs can be tampered with, then why should elections be conducted with them? EVMs are no more used in America and England. Why can’t we, too, follow the trend?”

Former CM Raje said that the BJP will take all the 25 seats in Rajasthan.

CM Ashok Gehlot and former CM Raje did not exit the airport in the same gate.
