Dale Steyn Lashes Out At Policemen And The Public Who Missbehaved With Smith At The Airport

Steve Smith… Not so long ago he has all the respect of being captain of misbehaved Australian cricket team and World No1 Test Batsman as well, But one small mistake has ruined everything, One bad decision cost his captaincy, his place in the team, His respect in world cricket, And his self-respect as well. A player who was treated as modern era Bradman now can’t even play for his team until next 1 year.

All the fans and young players who treated him like role model are now cursing him as cheater, All this was because that one error in leadership by letting his Vice Captain David Warner tamper the ball which included a newcomer, Warner put all three careers at stake by talking a newcomer into doing something which is against the spirit of game. The trio got bashed hard for their deeds, Cricket Australia has banned them for a year, Which is very unlike for ball tampering as usually player gets banned for 1 or 2 games only, But Cricket Australia wanted to set an example.

Everything was fine they accepted their mistake, Apologised the Cricket Fraternity, Welcomed the punishment. They were asked to come back from South Africa as soon as possible, Then something happened at the airport. Smith was already devastated, People were calling him a cheat, Airport was filled with the crowd who were booing him a cheater. The media persons were humiliating him with the questions, While police were dragging him as if he is some criminal who has committed a serious crime, The whole act was so inhumane that all of a sudden it created sympathy over Steve Smith.

South African Legendary fast bowler Dale Steyn lashed out at the police and public for the way they treated Steve Smith on his way back to home. This is what he said about the incident.

“YOH those bans are heavy. It’s just, well, it’s, WOW. That’s life changing stuff. That shit at the airport looked totally unnecessary though.”

Dale Steyn wrote this on his official Twitter handle, He was seen very unhappy by the way Crown and Police treated his fellow cricketer. Yes, he did a mistake, But that mistake didn’t deserve this much of Outrage, There are many criminals in this world who actually deserves that but they are roaming freely. They deserve punishment but not humility.
