Delhi Odd Even Rule: Pollution Rises 23% During Second Phase Of Scheme

During the odd-even registration rule, the air pollution in Delhi rose to 23% in between April 15 and April 29, when compared to previous 14 days. Based on the PM analysis of breath air quality monitoring devices.

PM 10 and 2.5 are considered to have inhalable particles which are small enough to penetrate the respiratory system. A well documented effects of inhalable gas are reported to suffer respiratory morbidity like aggravation of asthma, respiratory symptoms and increase in hospital admission and cardiovascular and other respiratory diseases from lung cancer.
