Dominos Has Only Veg Menu For Navratris But This Foodie Is Still Fighting For His Pepperoni

Pizza, when you think of it, you will get a clear picture with cheese melting in your mouth and dripping from the corners of your piece. And if you want to order a pizza one of the first names that strike to mind is Domino’s. But, this time,  Domino’s India turn fully vegetarian for this festival period (Navaratri i.e; from 1st October).

Earlier, Domino’s India has brought vegetarian pizzas in only few stores. But, this time from 1st October, almost 500 Domino’s outlets have been serving only vegetarian items which includes pizza bases made from Singhara Atta (Water Chestnut Flour), sabudana crispies, and cheese & sauces prepared using rock salt while making sure there is no usage of Garlic and Onion in their menu. This decision is praised by many as few people in India stop consuming onion, garlic and common salt, if not fasting during the festival period.

However, the non-veg consumer has been deeply disappointed. Joshua, one such customer shared a disappointing experience encountered with Domino’s while trying to order Non-vegetarian pizza during the Navratri season. He would like to order a cheese and pepperoni pizza online. But, all he could find was vegetarian pizzas. Later, he called to the Domino’s customer support executive. Here is the conversation with the Domino’s official which he shared through social media by posting the screenshots of his conversation.

He said that “So Domino’s Pizza just went and wore the khakhee chaddi! They are not serving non veg pizzas in Navratra! Isn’t this border line non-secular behavior or is it my tummy giving me a bad mood swing? Check out these pics of my chat with their helpline! “
