EID TO BE CELEBEARATED IN KERALA TODAY AND ACROSS INDIA ON 16th

Though the moon has been sighted in countries like Indonesia, Dubai and Abu Dhabi on 14th June so those countries are celebrating the festival of brotherhood Eid-Ul-Fitra on 15th June and in India as the moon will be spotted on 15th June so the country will celebrate the festival of brotherhood on 16th June. Eid-ul-Fitra is a felicitous festival that marks the pinnacle of a fasting month Ramzan, Eid will be celebrated all over India expect Kerala on Saturday as the moon was not seen on Thursday. Jama Masjid Shahi Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari has announced this on Thursday night, after a meeting of moon sighting committee, A senior officer at the city’s historic Masjid said: “The moon was not seen today so that means the auspicious festival Eid-Ul-Fitra will be celebrated on Saturday across India expect Kerala” As the moon was seen in Kozhikode in Kerala on Thursday night. So, the traditional festival of Muslim community EID-Ul-Fitra will be celebrated today in Kerala. EID-ul-Fitra is a very important and religious festival of Muslims community that marks the end of the month of the holy month of fasting. This felicitous EID is the day of the month of Shawwal during which Muslims are not allowed to fasting.
