Indian special weapon Ravichandran Ashwin hit out at Rodney Hogg on Tuesday after the former Australian pacer said his success during the ongoing home series against South Africa is mainly due to spin-friendly wickets. Ashwin has taken 24 wickets in three Test matches in a series with South Africa. Most of the cricket legends and other experts bashed as those led to new controversies about the pitches.
The Indian spin-trio of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Amit Mishra have dominated the opposition batsmen, taking away 47 of the 50 South African wickets. Left-arm spinner Jadeja has claimed 16 wickets while leg-spinner Mishra has seven wickets in his pocket.
Spinner Mishra brushed aside the controversy over the nature of the pitches, asserting that the poor technique of the Proteas batsmen is more to blame for their predicament.
While Ashwin came up with his fluent sarcasm which left the 64-year-old pace bowler Rodney Hogg speechless!

The best spinner in the world right now? pic.twitter.com/oFhgEMYhLF— ICC (@ICC) November 30, 2015
This is what ICC official twitter questioned while announcing the ICC Rankings which pushed Ashwin to world number 2. This is the career best figure of Ravichandran which proves himself as the best spinner at current times. Meanwhile, Rodney Hogg was straight enough and asked Ashwin to self-question himself about the ranking.
@RMHogg @ICC @BCCI sure, let’s just share the same mirror or should I order two??

Ashwin replied in a special way asserting that the Australians also owe their success in their own country to favourable home conditions.
