Ever Wondered About The Brief Case, Carried By SPG Operatives While Guarding India’s PM?

Many times, we watch the Prime Minister of India passing by, in complete protocol with SPG (Special Protection Group) operatives surrounding him to guard against any unexpected attack by terrorists or anti-nationals.

We see him in such a condition when he is nearing his scheduled place travelling in a special car in slow motion with SPG operatives around him, or somewhere on the airport, or while meeting someone in the open, or during any special occasions, like 26 January parade.

We always see the SPG operatives carrying on their assigned duty without any possible error. And they always carry a Brief Case with them. One of them handles all the time while the Prime Minister is being safeguarded. They keep a strict vigil on every person around them and are very active to pound on someone trying to break-in, suddenly. Nobody is allowed to come near the Prime Minister for his safety reasons. They carry weapons; in case they may need it to counter some attack which may occur anytime.

But, in all circumstances, they do not miss to carry that briefcase. So, what is so special about it? What is inside it? How it matters them so much that they carry it all the time? What do they want to do with that? Ever got answers to these questions arising after observing the ‘Brief Case’ ? Did you ever ponder over this thing?

So, if you have got some answers or have no answer to these all questions……..then, let us solve the puzzle for you….!

Yes, we have got answer to that. The answer is very simple, but, if you get into details, the functioning of the Brief Case may astonish you.

The Brief Case is, in fact, a part of the Prime Minsiter’s security in case of urgency. If any time, at any place, there is an attack on the Prime Minister by any terrorist or anti-national force, then, the SPG operatives use it for the Prime Minister’s safety.

The Brief Case is, actually, a ‘Portable Bullet Proof Shield’ that can be opened in case of any attack on the Prime Minister.  You can call the Brief Case as ‘Portable Foldout Ballistic Shield’ as well. It is a very thin ‘Brief Case’, which can provide protection for the Prime Minister.

Whenever, the SPG operatives find any situation to be unfavorable for the PM, or has any doubt somewhere or on any person, they just shake the ‘Brief Case’ downwards and as a result, the shield inside the Brief Case opens up. If observed, this shield acts like a protector from attack. The Brief Case also has a pocket, in which a pistol can be kept.
