Force 2 starring John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles, managed to make a decent opening weekend in spite of the demonetization issue. The action drama received positive reviews from the critics. Its performance has remained better in single screens.
Force 2 hit the screens on November 18, right in the middle of a time when the country is dealing with the effects of demonetization. Here is the complete first and the second-week box office collection report of Force 2 movie.

Force 2, which is a sequel to the 2011 film Force, deals with RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) agents and what happens to them once they are killed in service. The movie stands the effect of demonetization. It has a decent collection at the box office.
Seeing the output of the movie Producer, Vipul Shah said, “The country is going through a change and our PM has taken a step that will change our country and the whole country needs to stand behind it. People are supporting the decision too. So we feel it is our duty to stand with our government and not create chaos by shifting our film and making it clash with some other film.”

Force 2 Movie Second Day (Saturday) Collections: Rs 6.5 crore
Force 2 Movie Third Day (Sunday) Collections: Rs 7.5 crore
First Weekend Total Collections: Rs. 20.05 Crores

Force 2 Movie Seventh Day (Thursday) Collections: Rs. 2.20 crores
Force 2 movie second-week collections started on a very low note. However the production cost of Rs. 45 Crores is likely to be cleared up. Force 2 managed to collect Rs. 30.15 Crores in the first and second-week collections.
