Huawei Honor 5C Likely To Launch In India On June 22

Chinese Multinational Networking and Telecom giant Huawei is expected to launch its latest smartphone ‘Honor 5C’ in India on June 22. The company has already sent media invites for the launch event. Huawei Honor 5C was launched in China back in April.

There are two variants of the Honor 5C such as 3G and 4G. The 3G version is available at 899yuan (around Rs 9,200) and the 4G version is priced at 999 yuan (around Rs 10,200). Honor 5C is powered by Huawei’s home-prepared HiSilicon Kirin 650 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card).

It features a 5.2-inch Full HD display and comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Coming to the camera, Honor 5C has a 13 MP rear camera capable of recording 1080p videos. Honor 5C is backed by a non-removable 3000mAh battery and is available with fingerprint sensor in silver and gray colors.

The device is 8.3mm thick and weighs 156 grams. It supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity.

Honor recently announced another budget smartphone Honor 5A, in China. In terms of specifications, Huawei Honor 5A features a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz octa-core Kirin 620 processor. It is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
