Hyderabad To Get Tram Facility Soon

The Greater Hyderabad municipal corporation is planning to launch a new generation trams in Hyderabad. The Public-private partnership is involved in this project as per agreement made by Telangana State government with sister cities in 2015. GHMC Mayor Rammohan said during the recent visit to Borde city in France he had discussed developmental programmes in French authorities that could be taken up in the city.

Several multi-national companies expressed their interest in taking the project regarding this including trams development of Musi River and its beautification and Charminar pedestrian project.

Multi-national companies like Keolis, Codatu and Luminas expressed keen interest in taking up tram project and even studied the conditions of the city and came out with a detailed project report said GHMC mayor.

With this developments and changes in the city, will not cause the cities heritage structures damaged in any way says the Mayor. He also says that the project would be finalized in December once the French Delegation meeting is finished.

This project improves Hyderabad in its connectivity with other areas to the heart of the city. All future projects will be taken up by the state government according to the availability of land, including double bedroom projects for urban poor on outskirts of Hyderabad.
