IITRAM Ragging Case: 26 Students Suspended till now (LIVE UPDATES) – From almost all the engineering branches that is Civil, Mechanical & Electrical etc. and all the students of the second year have been caught as there had been 26 students under detention for mass ragging, thus suspended in short from Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management. Regarding this case, Shri N N Bhuptani, Registration of Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management, in a press released statement has said that “Based on the severity of their acts, five have been put under detention for three weeks, 16 for three months and five for two semesters (on year).”

Apart from that, Anju Sharma, Principal Secretary, Education also said in a press release stating that “During the investigation, the first-year students told the college authorities that the same seniors forcibly asked them to fill a questionnaire of 50 indecent questions prepared by them. As an evidence, the ragging prevention committee also has the copy of this questionnaire.” The administration/ officials of the institute came to know about the ragging cases when total 160 students of first-year were forced to do push-ups, sit-ups and other physical activities and technical staff had this in knowledge at the time of routine checkup of CCTV cameras installed.
