India working hard for becoming USD 5 trillion economy by 2025

 

The president of India Ram Nath Kovind besides being focused on investment opportunities in the country said that India is making strenuous efforts to become USD 5 trillion economies and is also working towards becoming the world’s third-largest consumer market by 2025. Ram Nath Kovind is the first Indian president in 11 years who has travelled to Greece. On Saturday Kovind reached Greece, which was amongst the first leg of his three-nation tour. Ramnath Kovind said that his visit will make a strong bond between India and Greece.

 

President even manifested his love and gratitude to overseas Indians as they are doing a very good job for improving bilateral relations between both the countries. Ram Nath Kovind discussed the relationship between both countries India and Greece and he further added that an ancient Greek historian Megasthenes who described India to the world through his book Indica said that the relations between both countries are very intense and old and both the countries are the ideals of culture, customs mores, advancement in the ancient world .

Ram Nath Kovind also added that India is making best efforts to become a USD 5 trillion economy and working hard to be the World’s largest consumer Market by the year of 2025. According to the World Bank and IMF report, India’s economic growth rate is going to be very high. At present, India’s economy is estimated at USD 2.5 trillion and President said that with regarding the democracy, demographic and demand, India had a powerful position in the world. Ram Nath Kovind also added in his statement that there are sufficient opportunities for business, revolution and investment in India and he also said that we feel proud for overseas Indians regarding their success and assumes that whatever one can do for the development of India for the motherland, he/she will do that.

 

USD 530 million is the bilateral trade for the Indian and Greece, some Indian companies are also present in the infrastructure, pharmaceutical and steel sectors in the central European nation. Greece is a home to a12000 strong Indian diaspora .and he will also make a journey to Surinam and Cuba during his national tour.
