Indian Army Approves The Release Of Surgical Strikes Video. Let’s See What Critics Will Do Now

As we all are aware of Surgical strikes carried out by Indian Army across the Line of Control dismantling at least seven camps in PoK. The Indian Army has decided to put an end to the confusion by giving its approval to the Government of India to release the footage of the sensitive operation.

India’s armed forces have given the green signal to the government to use the video footage of the surgical strikes against terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The Indian Army has given multiple videos and graphic evidence of its surgical strikes to the government.

The operation lasted from 12.30 am to 4.30 am, with the location being 500 metres to 2 km from the LoC on the Pakistani side. “There is no doubt at all that the strikes inflicted heavy damage. The proof is available with the government that clearly shows our troops engaging the targets effectively,” a senior government official said.

According to a report, the Army had, in fact, submitted the graphic visuals from the attack to the Government last week and had asked them to take a final call on whether the content should be made public.

Indian Army Green Signal To Release Surgical Strike Video:

This move by the India army came a day after opposition politicians in India, including Aam Aadmi Party’s Arvind Kejriwal and Congress’ Sanjay Nirupam, have asked for ‘proof ’ of the strikes. The Army is keen to make the video footage public, to lay to rest the doubts and suspicions from across the border, as well as from opposing political parties to rest–“once and for all”.

“The denial of Pakistan about such like the operation conducted by Indian army across the border can be understood by the fact that Pakistan government and its army do not want their ego and prestige dented, particularly when its army chief is due to retire”, BJP state Spokesperson, Virender Gupta said.

The final decision lies with the PMO whether to use the footage in shutting up the opposition or not.
