Sachin Tendulkar is arguably one of the greatest cricketers in the world and that is why people across the globe admire him as the ‘God of Cricket’. He is truly an inspiration to millions. In his long playing career of almost two and a half decades, Sachin Tendulkar broke many records and achieved things that no other batsman could do.
Yes, he is the only sportsperson to receive the highest civilian award of the country, i.e., Bharat Ratna. Undoubtedly, he stood as India’s batting mainstay throughout his career and gained crores of fans with his batting performance and his down-to-earth nature.
No words are needed to describe the love and affection the world has for Sachin, they call him dearly as MasterBlaster and the way they express it is spellbound. Even after his retirement, he has the same fan craze, love, and stardom.
Thus, the man has earned a lot of respect in his lifetime and has been titled the “God Of Cricket” by millions of fans.
However, there is always a section of people who voice against the good and make some hateful statements. There are many who claim that the hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand deserved Bharat Ratna first than Sachin. One of such, an Olympian shooter who is angry with Sachin made a sarcastic remark about the Bharat Ratna that he received.
It all happened when Sachin took to Twitter express his grief and condolences on the horrific terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, where pilgrims on their way to the famous Amarnath shrine were attacked and seven of them were killed.
Here is his tweet:
Deeply disturbed by the terror attack on #AmarnathYatra pilgrims. Thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims and their families.
— sachin tendulkar (@sachin_rt) July 10, 2017
There was absolutely nothing wrong or controversial in Tendulkar’s tweet. In fact, it offered thoughts and prayers to the victims, which is only a good thing coming from such a popular public figure.
However, a former Olympian shooter named Joydeep Karmakar has taken a dig at his perfect grammar and then made a sarcastic remark about the Bharat Ratna that he received.
His comments will surely result to rile a lot of Sachin fans across the country. It is clear that former Indian shooter took a dig at his Bharat Ratna while speaking about Sachin.
In his tweet, Karmakar took a sarcastic dig at the Master Blaster and pointed out his incorrect grammar, before going on to comment on his Bharat Ratna award in a distasteful manner.
Here is what he tweeted:
What a grammatically correct statement..no wonder you deserved the Bharat Ratna
— joydeep karmakar OLY (@Joydeep709) July 10, 2017
As expected, a storm erupted on social media late last night questioning the purpose of Karmakar trolling Sachin in such a situation and hence, brutally thrashed the Olympian shooter. Check out some of the tweets:
Angrezi sher….
Aur mere angrezi sher tune bade jhande gad diye h ..gold medal dila diye India ko kyu? Sahi h na..7 janam me nhi kr payega tu Jo usne kiya

Rightly said!
Even if u r jealous of him and his award, this was not the right moment and tweet to comment. consult a doctor for depression soon.
— anmol kumar sharma (@reflectionmania) July 11, 2017
Exactly!
There’s nothing wrong/controversial in Sachin’s tweet. He is a cricketer and not an English Tutor. He has tweeted for a good cause.
— Anonymous++ (@IloveCode97) July 11, 2017
Spot on!
What have you achieved with your English? You are a looser. Do you think Sachin got Bharat Ratna for his knowledge of English.

Epic insult:

We couldn’t find anything grammatically wrong in Sachin’s tweet taking into consideration the fact that one needs to express oneself in 140 characters only.
