Good news for all those candidates who appeared for JEE Mains 2016 exams. The results of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) held on April 3 (offline) and April 9 and 10 (online) will be declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on April 27. Candidates who clear the JEE Mains examination are eligible to sit for the JEE advanced for admission in IITs.
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. The JEE scores form the basis of admission into NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical Institutions.
The JEE Main paper I and paper II offline exam were conducted on April 3 and paper I online exam on April 9 and April 10, 2016. About 12 lakh students have appeared for the off-line mode. Earlier this week, CBSE released the answer keys. Now, the JEE Mains exam results are expected to be released on April 27. The top 1, 50, 000 score holders in JEE Main will qualify for the JEE Advanced exam scheduled to be held on May 23.
