Report: On Friday, a court in Jamtara, Jharkhand, sentenced the 5 men who raped a 20-year-old in June 2016 to 20 years in prison, the sentence was given by District Judge Kamal Kumar Srivastav.
Additional District Judge Kumar also fined the 5 men with Rs. 15,000.
On June 6, 2016, the 5 men forcibly took the 20-year-old woman away from her residence when the group saw that she was alone.
The 5 men then raped her on the outer area of their village.
After the 20-year-old woman reported the incident to her family members, they registered a complaint against the 5 men at the Bagdehari Police Station.
