The miracles that Reliance JIO has made so far are completely beyond the expectations of common people. With its very advent into Tele communications sector, offering free Internet and calls, JIO has proved its best. It has almost been a year now, JIO has lifted the bars so high that its rivals could never reach the same at any cost.
Reliance Jio, currently the uncrowned king of Indian Telecom networks has stunned people with its astounding offers till now. Reliance JIO has never left any stone unturned in garnering peoples love and respect. Back then, JIO was successful in impressing its customers with various gradients of recharge plans.
Recently, a news was flashed that Reliance JioFiber would be offering 100 GB data for just Rs 500 and 100 cities of India would be able to enjoy this service by Diwali. This tweet came from a Twitter handle @TheIshaAmbani about the exciting offer.
However, the tweet about its upcoming JioFiber launch went viral on social media. A report was published on it by Economic Times; however, it also published a correction later, stating that no announcement has been made by Reliance Jio in regard to this offer.
A company official confirmed that the country’s richest man Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani does not have a Twitter account. There is no clarity if the company has filed any complaint with Twitter to delete the handle that has acquired over 44,000 followers since it came into existence on September 27, 2014.
The company was quick to react refusing the offer on receiving calls from journalists, its official Twitter handle, @JioCare replied to queries about the company and its services despite the fake handle being tagged as well.
In fact, when the fake handle tweeted the incorrect date of pre-booking of new Jio phones, the official handle replied the queries of this thread and corrected the date also. And if that was not enough, the handle also posted about the new Jio Phone claiming that pre-booking will start from August 22.
The menace of fake news does not spare even the high and the mighty.
For everyone’s surprise, the company has not issued any official statement regarding the offer made by the fake account but they informed the reporters about the account when they called the company. Well, the authorities should take serious actions against such people who are spreading false news.
