After the death of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, condolences and tributes poured in from all corners of the country. All the celebrities and political leaders expressed their deep sorrow through twitter. But, actor Kamal Haasan’s message condoling the death of Jayalalithaa has upset many.
While condolence messages are pouring in from all corners, Kamal Haasan took to Twitter to express his grief. But somewhere, something seemed amiss. All the supporters of “AMMA” are disappointed with his condolence tweet. Some of them lashed out at him on Twitter soon after he posted the tweet.
Kamal, who rather took his time to express his grief, posted a curt message on his Twitter page: “சார்ந்தோர் அனைவருக்கும் ஆழ்ந்த அனுதாபங்கள்”, which translates as: “Deepest sympathies to everyone who are dependent on Jayalalithaa.”
Have a look at his tweet:

Haasan’s subdued message didn’t go down well with her fans. Here are some twitter reactions following his tweet:
what’s the point in being well learned if there is no decency. Shame I used to be a fan of yours.

A clarification from Kamal is yet to be made. We are not sure how he responds to the twitter reactions.
Jayalalithaa died at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai late Monday evening. She suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday evening, eventually causing her death. She was in the hospital for 75 days.
