The 2018 version of Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR’s price has been hiked up to Rs. 88,000 and not the bike costs at Rs. 16.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle was launched in the country most recently with huge price cut due to the fact that it nowadays assembled locally. The point to be noted here that the India Kawasaki Motor (IKM) did make it quite clear at the time of its launch that the prices are being set on the introductory basics and will be revised after July 2018. CKD operations were announced by the Japanese bike maker for the Ninja ZX-10R and the ZX-10RR during the earlier time of this year and thus resulting in the turning of ZX-10R to be the most affordable superbike in liter-class on sale in India. The good point about the hike is that the Ninja ZX-10R version will not be affected this time and will continue to be sold at a retail price tag of Rs 12.8 lakh (ex-showroom).
One may not get surprised by the price hike as the 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR will have the price tag of Rs. 5 lakh difference over its earlier pricing. The bike is currently being assembled at Kawasaki facility in Chakan, Pune and the facility also assembles a host of many other bikes of performance which includes the Z900, Ninja 650 and Z650 and Ninja 300, which is currently held at the most affordable model available for the brand in the country.
The 2018 version of Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR is seen to be more track-friendly one of the standard Ninja ZX-10R and comes quite close to the manufacturer’s World SuperBike Championship (WSBK) winning bike. The Ninja ZX-10RR seems to be very similar to the standard version but this time the bike is being offered with the all-black winter edition livery.
The recent upgrades also include 7-spoke Marchesini forged alloy wheels made up of aluminum with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres. The crankcase is a reinforced one with higher reliability and a modified cylinder head. The Ninja ZX-10RR also utilizes a fully-adjustable a horizontal back-link BFRC lite gas-charged monoshock and 43mm Showa balance free front fork, a stronger crankcase, carbon-coated tappets, Brembo M50 brake calipers along with grooved rotors to provide additional cooling and a master cylinder being radial one. Many bike lovers prefer this model over many other models provided by the company.
