Irrespective of the problems being faced by common citizens, the whole nation is welcoming the step of PM Modiji regarding Rs 500 , 1000 currency notes ban. First time in 60 years, such a stern action has been taken against corruption.
Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, who is known to react on everything that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does, has chosen to remain silent on the government’s decision to end the legal tender of the Rs 500 and Rs 1,000. The only response he gave after the announcement is a just retweet of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s tweet.

Kerala’s Finance Minister, Thomas Isaac, has also come out against the move, calling it “a joke, calamity”. In an interview to India Today, he said, “If the prime minister is thinking black money is held in cash in almirahs in India, then that’s not right. Major proportion of black money is stacked abroad, the rest is invested in gold or other precious metals and properties. It is ordinary people who keep cash in hand,” he added.
