A surprising incident took place yesterday at Rajkot’s stadium, it was during the 15th over of the innings, which was Malinga’s last, the cameras all of sudden focused on a Malinga doppelganger in the crowd. The man was wearing similar sunglasses as of the T20 legend and was also sporting the same hairstyle. He was on the big screen and Malinga could also see him and immediately started laughing.
The doppelganger was again on the big screen after Malinga delivered the third ball of the over, Malinga smiled looking at the screen while delivering the fourth ball of the over. The fans around the Malinga-lookalike were cheering him as he smiled and raised his hand in acknowledgment. The commentators too got into it, with one of them calling him a ‘twin’ of the Sri Lankan bowler.
