Argentina’s Lionel Messi shocked the sporting world and announced his retirement from International Football. Beside lost the Copa America Cup Final to Chile in a penalty shoot-out after he failed to find the net.
This is something tough to the entire world to digest. Everyone was shocked on hearing Messi’s sudden retirement that the world and his fans weren’t prepared for. The heart-breaking announcement came in just three days after Messi expressed his disappointment over the Argentine FA as he wrote “What a disaster the AFA are. My god!” on his Instagram post.
A teary-eyed Messi was seen sitting on the substitute benches after having missed his shot at the penalty shoot-outs. The world is wondering that the World Cup is just a couple of years away, and why Messi took this abrupt decision at 29, having a long and bright future ahead.
