Police Report: 2 young men in their 20s were killed after they got hit by a passing train in the district of Hingoli, Maharashtra, both men were playing PUBG on their phones.
The incident happened in Hingoli’s Khatkali Bypass on Saturday which is around 570 kilometers away from Mumbai.
The two young men have been identified as 24-year-old Nagesh Gore and 22-year-old Swapnil Annapurne, were run over a train while they were playing PUBG near the railway tracks. Their dead bodies were found by residents of the area.
A case has been registered at the Hingoli Police Station. PUBG or PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is an online single-player and multi-player game that has broken a lot of records, the game is also very addictive and is popular amongst youngsters.
The Rajkot Police banned the game and called it addictive and harmful for youngsters who play it. 10 people were arrested in Rajkot after they were caught playing PUBG. They arrested 6 more who were all undergraduates and were in 18 to 22 years old.
PUBG has been banned in a couple of cities in India. Rajkot, Vadodara, and Surat banned the game in their cities. Following them, the districts of Gir Somnath and Bhavnagar banned the game too. 2 days ago the Aravalli District also banned the popular game.
