Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan has been the target for some political groups since many years. This isn’t something unusual. Since few months, SRK seems to have got used to all the people who hate him and negativity against him. Here comes another news against him. As the date is approaching for SRK’s latest film ‘Dilwale’, anti-SRK forces are appealing the people to boycott the film.
Chitrapat Karmachari Sena, a group which is associated with the political party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena on Monday came to promote and appeal people to boycott the film ‘Dilwale’. They accused that SRK didn’t offer any help to the farmers of Maharashtra affected in Droughts. As he ignored the plight of farmers reeling under severe drought, we all have to boycott his film.
“Farmers in Maharashtra, especially in Marathwada, are reeling under drought. Khan, who has been residing in the state and has made a lot of money, has not helped farmers in distress. When his help is needed, he isn’t forthcoming,” Amey Khopkar, Chief of MNS Chitrapat Karmachari Sena told. Earlier also MNS has stood against SRK in many aspects.
When asked Khopkar whether MNS will demand a ban on ‘Dilwale’, he replied, “We are not seeking a ban. We are only appealing people to boycott the film. SRK is taking Maharashtra for granted.” Maharashtra Navnirman Sena came forward appealing to boycott the film after SRK has made a contribution of Rs. 1 crore to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that “Dilwale” tickets in Mumbai and Pune were sold out within hours of opening the pre-booking counter. ‘Dilwale’ is releasing on December 18 and the sensational pair of Shah Rukh and Kajol will be seen after a long time on the big screen.
