YSRCP MLA Roja who was suspended by Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao on Friday for a year after making unparliamentary remarks on the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been arrested today as she attempted to enter the Assembly.
Roja stated that she was going to YCPLP office in the premises of Assembly but was denied the permission to enter leading to a verbal war with the police who eventually arrested her and shifted to the Nampally police station.
After coming to know about the arrest, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and other party MLAs have reportedly rushed to the police station.

Stating that Roja was even barred from entering the Assembly premises, Jagan said suspension doesn’t mean cessation of membership of the House. ”
