Prime Minister Narendra Modi Reply To Anil Kumble’s Praising Tweet In A Similar Way

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said: “The decision to scrap Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes was taken to create a “corruption-free” India” on Wednesday as a number of personalities from film and other fraternities welcomed the change.

PM Modi announced that from midnight currency notes of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 denomination will not be legal tender. The news took the social media by a storm. Many congratulated Modi for his decision. The Indian head coach had tweeted applauding PM’s historic decision to scrap 500 and 1000 denominations.

Modi who is active on twitter platform gave a reply to his tweet. PM Narendra Modi was bowled over by the tweet and expressed his delight in somewhat similar manner. He tweeted: “This coming from one of India’s most admired cricketers, whose bowling caught many batsmen by surprise.”

If you are thinking about demonetization, the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes can be exchanged for lower denomination currency notes at designated banks and post offices on producing valid government identity cards like PAN, Aadhaar, and Election Card from November 10 to December 30 with a daily limit of Rs 4000.

Important Note: “If you don’t manage to deposit all your old notes by Dec 30 you still have a window. You can exchange old notes at designated offices of the RBI after submitting a declaration form and showing your ID card up to 31.3.2017.”
