Moon Jae-in ,South Korea President will Visit India This Month

On Monday, South Korean Presidential office informed that the South Korean President Moon Jae-in will visit India first time from July 8 to 11. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited him. During his first visit to India, a summit will be held with Prime Minister Narendra Modi where both of the Prime Ministers discussions are expected to be focused on the economic cooperation of both countries and besides this Narendra Modi will focus on strengthened economic ties and a few memoranda of understanding (MoU) would also be signed.
It is presumed that in the meeting of both the Prime Ministers of India and South Korea there will be a conversation on the economic growth of both the countries and they will also talk about how to improve the economic ties between the two nations. This is also expected that meeting of Prime Ministers of two countries will also help to create opportunities developing infrastructures in the country.

As per the report, South Korean President Moon Jae-in’s first visit to India with a specific purpose for upgrading the partnership of both the nations and build a strong relationship both the countries would be very helpful for both the countries. to recall, in 2015, Prime Minister Modi had visited South Korea and launched a special strategic partnership.
Beside this, During PM Narendra Modi’ s South Korea visit in 2015, he also met the South Korean President Park Geun-Hye and in this meeting seven agreements had been signed by PM Modi and Park Geun-Hye at that time. Those agreements were included formalizing national consultations between National Security Councils and improve the bilateral ties between the two countries. Besides this, there was also signed a MoU on cooperation between the two nations in the fields of maritime transport and logistics which include through sharing of technologies.

This is also presumed that the 2014 agreement for technical cooperation in the railway’s sector like a modernization of the system and technologies and development of logistics parks would also be delivered by South Korea.
Apart from this, according to a report, it is also expected that during the first visit of South Korean President Moon Jae-in, he will also meet with Indian President Ram Nath Kovind.


South Korea’s presidential Blue House also added ”India is becoming a pre-eminent partner for Seoul not only in terms of the economy but regarding its plans for peace and prosperity on the Korean peninsula as well”
To recall, in 1973, there established formal ties between South Korea and India.
Apart from this, a report also says that after Moon Jae-in’s visit to India, he will also visit Singapore from July 11 to 13.
