On Sunday, Rising Pune Supergiant defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 27 runs and brought an end to their losing streak in the ongoing Indian Premier League successfully.

One special thing about the match was that the crowd also witnessed vintage MS Dhoni as the wicket-keeper batsman scored 28 runs off 25 balls which included a mammoth six that landed on the roof of the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Yes, MS Dhoni who faced a lot of criticism as he failed to perform in the first 3-4 games for Rising Pune Super Giants. But the wicket keeper showed signs of form as he scored 28 runs off 25 balls against RCB.

After the victory, a video of Dhoni celebrating the win with teammates was uploaded on Instagram. In the video, MS Dhoni said that “Abey Khaana, bohot achcha cake hai! Ek adha lo aur ek face pey lagalo”

Coming to the match, The Rising Pune Super Giant team batted first and scored a respectable 161-9 in their 20 overs. It was a good total considering that they had a middle order collapse. In reply, Royal Challengers were restricted to just 134-9 by the RPS bowlers.

Two Special Highlight Moments of the match were:

Firstly, our Captain Cool hitting a mammoth six against RCB to announce his return to form and shut down any apprehensions regarding his form.

His massive six gave a chance to all his fans to troll Harsh Goenka, the co-owner of Rising Pune Supergiant who had earlier raised fingers on Dhoni.

It was probably the cleanest hit of the IPL so far when Dhoni came down the track and hit Chahal for a six! The ball landed on the roof of the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Secondly, the turning point of the match moment when Dhoni sent back the dangerous AB De Villiers by a smart stumping off the bowling of Imran Tahir.

Thus, MS Dhoni yet again proved why he’s still one of the best wicketkeepers in the world with a lightening fast stumping to dismiss AB De Villiers.

We hope Dhoni will like to get more runs in Pune’s next game which is against Sunrisers Hyderabad at home on Saturday.
