The IPL 2017 is on, the conundrum of diverse players, the space for humor and what not, just like every season, this season is all set to unleash some memorable moments.
A hilarious incident took place in the season’s one of the very first matches, between Rising Pune Supergiant and Mumbai Indians and the player involved in this is none other than TeamIndia’s then captain and ever cool MS Dhoni.
Yet again Proved why MS Dhoni is so valuable in taking #DRS system #DRS (Dhoni Review System)!
Coming into the details, Mahendra Singh Dhoni turned for his first Indian Premier League (IPL) match as a non-captain on Thursday in Pune. Playing for hosts Rising Pune Supergiant, the legend was rather quiet behind the stumps until the 15th over against visiting Mumbai Indians.
Then, this happened. MS Dhoni jokingly and sarcastically called for a review even as umpire S Ravi turned down a LBW appeal against Kiern Pollard off the second ball of the over, bowled by Imran Tahir.
Dhoni was energetic in the appeal, jumping and pleading relentlessly. But the umpire turned down it. Reviews showed the ball hitting the pad first, then the trajectory of the ball crashing into the wickets.

Thus, MS Dhoni why he is so valuable in taking #DRS system and makes it right again #DRS (Dhoni Review System)!
In the context of the match, it’s kind of poetic justice. Earlier in the innings, Tahir benefitted from a poor call from Ravi, when he judged Jos Buttler out LBW despite the ball hitting the bat first.
