The University of Mumbai was established in 1857. The University is one of the oldest and premier Universities in India and it is one amongst the first three Universities in India. Mumbai University is a State University under Government of Maharashtra. University has conducted TYBA Exam in the month of November 2014. Huge number of candidates have appeared in the exam.

Among the 15,842 regular students who appeared for the semester V exams in November-December, close to 60% students have cleared the exam. While only 500 students got an outstanding grade in the exams, around 2,376 students got an ‘A’ grade and a majority of students-around 2,935-got a ‘B’ grade.
