Muslim Cleric Asks News Anchor To Wear Underwear To Work! TV Anchor Shuts Down Maulana With Bang On Reply!
Putting aside the appreciable progress in technology and communication systems, if we switch our subject to the Freedom of Women, the discussion might end up bit stuttered. The issue of woman’s individual freedom in taking decisions and the personal struggle of every woman is still beyond solutions.
Many blame women’s clothes and their lifestyle when they get raped or ill-treated, but it’s the truth that people fail to understand that it’s not women who need to change, the mentality of people regarding females should change. It’s high time we stop treating women as the weaker sex. They have always been blamed and ill-treated by the male dominance hierarchies.
But, now times have changed. No matter how patriarchal the society is, women have now learned how to take a stand for themselves. More and more women are now standing up to end this long war of the sexes.
What a person wants to wear is a personal choice and nobody else has the right to decide for him/her. Agree?
However, outfits of the women celebrities have become a most awaited subject these days, putting aside the trends of actors and sportsmen, actresses outfits have become a trait of the spotlight.
Recently, people brutally slammed the critically acclaimed actresses, Priyanka Chopra & Fatima Sana Shaikh for their dressing. The topic became a national discussion and so a debate was held at a TV News Channel Mirror Now, which was being hosted by anchor Faye D’Souza.
While everyone on the panel was voicing their opinion, Maulana Yasoob Abbas (A Muslim cleric) asked the anchor to wear underwear to work-
“Underwear pehan karke, aap debate mein aiye. There will be equality between men and women.”
This remark obviously made her furious and here’s how she replied-
“Let me tell you, Maulana ji. Aap jaise maine bahut dekhe hai. I’m not afraid of you, I’m not threatened by you, and most of all, I’m not rattled by you.”
She continued to say-
“All you men think that if you rattle all women when they are doing their jobs, they will run back to their kitchens and cover themselves up and leave the world again for you to conquer”
And she concluded with these strong words-
“I have got news for you, we are not going anywhere.”

We loved the way Faye handled the situation and gave him a befitting reply. If everyone starts reacting in a similar way to such thinking and stops accepting it like an order, India will be a developed country soon.
