State level Muslim leader Dr Habib Hanif Chaudhary, who is associated with RSS’s minority wing Rastriya Muslim Manch, ended his life by committing suicide at his house in Chhattisgarh.
According to reports, he was under severe depression due Muslim fundamentalist’s comments, as they called him a ‘Kafir’ (a person who is not a Muslim).

Family members recovered his body hanging from the ceiling. However, there was no suicide note from the spot. But the rumors have started spreading over his death.
Minority leader, Habib Hanif Chaudhary was state vice president of RMM Chhattisgarh and was quite popular among moderate Muslim as well as BJP and RSS circles.
He was praised for his initiative to worship cow, beef ban and support against cow slaughter. The man promoted Bhagwat Katha within the community and was continuously on target of Muslim fanatics.
The man was under depression and finally he committed suicide said Haj Committee Chairman Dr Salim Raj. However, his family members have not made any public statement on the issue.
