The National Investigation Agency has arrested 2 men who were members of a gang that was responsible for circulating fake Rs. 2000 in New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana.
The gang was reported by a reliable input, afterwards, an operation was launched in Haryana, that led to the arrest of the 2 men.
The agency also seized fake bills worth Rs. 1.20 crores.
The police added that all fake bills were Rs. 2000 notes.
The 2 arrested men have been identified as Waseem and Kasim, both of them hail from Mewat, Haryana.
The 2 men and the seized Rs. 1.20 crores have been handed over to the Mewat Police and a probe for the buy-bust operation has also been launched.
