Somehow or other, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always been the tail of trolls on twitter for weird reasons. Be it his craziest expressions with Obama or Manmohan Singh or be it his dialects on the political rivals Arvind Kejriwal or Rahul Gandhi.
One cannot simply explain how much PM Narendra Modi is welcomed whenever he visits some place, Modi got a rousing welcome in a decked-up Surat as he embarked on an 11- kilometre-long roadshow on 16th April.
The crowd went chanting People “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and started waving their hands. andIndian flags. Standing through the sunroof of the vehicle, Modi waved his hand too. The state BJP left no stone unturned to accord a grand welcome to Modi, as this was his first visit to his home state after the party’s impressive showing in the state assembly polls.

Giant sized ‘Swagat points’, hoardings, five gate structures, nine arch-shaped gate structures and 600 cutouts displaying government schemes were arranged all his way. An 11-km-long ‘saree’, with the names of government schemes printed on it, was also tied along the route, which embarked the glory Modi has brought to Surat and the country itself.

However, despite all this, the stunning 22-feet statue of Modi has overshadowed everything. It was erected in his honour at the airport.

Meanwhile, there’s a funny thing about this statue and this is the face of the statue itself. The artist who made it somehow failed to replicate the exact face of Modi and this made Twitterati go on trolling the figure brutally.
