A shocking incident took place in Delhi school. According to a news source around 16 girls students from Kindergarten had been locked up in a basement for five hours due to not paying a fee on time. on Monday, all the students had been rescued by their parents.
it was claimed by the parents of the students from an all-girls school in Hauz Qazi Delhi that in extreme heat, their children were cramped in the school basement from 7:30 am to about 12:30 pm and parents also alleged that teachers did not care about it whether their children were hungry and thirsty. Parents also strongly condemned this action which has taken by the school administration for not paying the fee.
According to the report, the complaint has been filed against the management of Rabea Girls Public School, Chandni Chowk, Delhi for the unlawful imprisonment and brutality to a child by the parents.
As per the source, on this brutal incident, the authorities of the school including principal and chairman did not give any explanation.
It is also alleged by the parents of the students that the fees has been paid on time but it was declined by the school administration to accept that. and student’s parents also added that receipt of deposited fee has also been showed to the school administration but the officials refused to accept their fault.
Fatima Begun, a parent of a student said that “When I went to school to pick up my child, we were told by the teachers that the students are in the basement. When we asked why they told us that they have been confined over non-payment of fees. We rushed to the basement and rescued the children. There was no ventilation in the room and my child was crying,”.
For this unlawful, and shameless action that has been taken by the school, Approx a protest has been staged by the 50 parents and complaint has been filed in a police station by the parents in order to take legal action against the school administration.
