Officer is an upcoming 2018 Indian Telugu, Action Crime film, produced and directed by Ram Gopal Varma on his R Company Production banner. The film stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Myra Sareen in the lead roles. The film is jointly produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Sudheer Chandra. Akkineni Nagarjuna is working with Ram Gopal Varma for the fourth time.
The film shooting started on 20 November 2017 at the Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Nagarjuna & Ram Gopal Varma are pairing up almost after 25 years, this is the fourth film in their combination, their previous works being Shiva (1989), Antham (1992) and Govinda Govinda (1994). The motion poster of the film released on 28 February 2018 and its teaser was released on 9 April 2018.
The Screenplay for the film “ Officer” is done by Ram Gopal Varma. The Story is also written by Ram Gopal Varma Starring Nagarjuna Akkineni & Myra Sareen on the screens for the first time. Myra sareen is an Indian film actress, who has worked predominantly in Telugu movie industry. Myra was introduced into the Hindi film industry in the year 2018 by director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV). Before venturing into the film industry, Myra was into modelling.The model-turned-actress hails from Mumbai and in her initial days of acting in Hindi films.
