Last month is a very important one for One Plus because of the launch of its latest flagship model, the OnePlus 6 with Android Oreo OS. At the annual developer conference, Google has announced that Android P developer preview will be taken across flagship phones including OnePlus 6 which is the latest model launched by the company, and the smartphone is now updated with Android P beta 2.
Company’s latest product OnePlus 6 is not only updated with Android P Beta 2 but now Google Lens integration supports the phone’s camera, and the phone also has Ambient Display, Face Unlock along with the ability to change system colour accents.
So if you are planning to purchase the latest version of this phone than OnePlus 6 will come with a number of features along with support for Google Lens as well. This latest Developer preview version also comes with support for some new OxygenOS features as well.
These powerful and techy updates in the phone were first spotted by one of the XDA members on Baidu and were was later published on OnePlus Chinese forums. This Android P Beta 2 update for OnePlus 6 comes along with the following features and improvements. The camera stability and application compatibility issues have been fixed with this update, this Android P beta update also brings Face Unlock along with Google Lens integration in the camera app and now the phone is also capable of changing system colour accents.
The update log of one plus 6 further says that many other specifications and features like Wi-Fi SofAP device manager, camera portrait mode are yet to be fixed and Widevine L1 is temporarily unavailable as of now.
Regarding these updates some folks at XDA Developers reported that “With the latest update users will be able to create their own system accent colours as Ambient display is present along with OnePlus’ 6”,they also said that “the update now supports the phone’s dual cameras at the back with other features include the option to enable and disable notch and full-screen gestures that were launched on the previous model, One Plus 5T”.
After the release of the latest and updated version of Android P developer preview for OnePlus 6, the XDA developers have now realized that the process of installation has become complicated from before and the Users are highly recommended to backup all files before updating the device to Android P Beta 2 for data safety purposes in future.
