Coronation Street, also known as Corrie, is a British Daily which telecasts on ITV. The program has introduced its first Muslim family with Pakistani origin Actor Marc Anwar. He was playing the role of the head of the family and being a businessman since 2014.
Popular as he already seems, his popularity has flown further within the last 24 hours. Anwar owes his freshly emphasized popularity, which should be better termed as shame, to his offensive tweets against Indians.
The immense backlash that he received, of course, made him delete the tweets perhaps resurfacing to reality and was stoned while putting them out of the world. “We have talked to Marc and, as a consequence of his comments, he will not be returning to Coronation Street with immediate effect,” a news channel quoted in their statement.
Everyone was wondered what had he expected from this tweets against Indians. Later, he realized that he had committed the mistake and apologized after being fired from Corrie.

The actor says that the tweets are misconstrued. We can’t think of adjectives as deprecating as b*****s and piss-drinking c***s, as something to be “misconstrued”.
However, the Twitterati were violent to react and expressed their hatred and anger.
