Bollywood Superstar Akshay has always been expressive about his love and respect for the country. Not only through his films, even in real life, he has often visited army camps and spent time with them. In fact, for their future, the actor even introduced ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ app, which enables people to contribute their bit for the living of army men’s lives and the lives of martyrs.
The actor, who himself is a martial arts enthusiast, has often encouraged women to learn martial arts and not be depended on someone ever in life. Not only that, he keeps encouraging people to not to give up and keep moving the right direction.
And he was very proud that the country’s women’s cricket team has qualified for the finale recently. The Superstar even went to cheer Indian Women’s Cricket Team at the Sunday’s World Cup Finale. While he was there to cheer and root, his social media feed was full of his updates from there.
While the Indian team lost the match, Akshay did not leave the place feeling disheartened. He spoke to the girls ensuring that they laugh to make them feel proud about all that they have achieved during the entire session.
Even Broken Hearts Can Laugh!!
These Women have started a revolution & I couldn’t be more proud 👊🏽 #WWC17Final pic.twitter.com/gVfHI08XHi— Akshay Kumar (@akshaykumar) July 23, 2017
However, he landed himself in troubles by posting his pic on Twitter. The picture that he had posted had him, holding the flag wrong.
While cheering for Indian women cricket team at the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017, Akshay Kumar held the National Flag to wave it in respect to the team. But the moment he posted a picture on Twitter, he received backlash for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor, by holding it upside down.
Even KRK questioned the citizenship of the actor. This might not be an intentional act, but social media users don’t spare such things.
We have often seen Akshay Kumar do a lot for Indian Jawans, so is it correct to question his respect for India?
See how brutally people have trolled him;
This is what Akshay learnt?

After being severely slammed by the trollers, Akshay Kumar. Hence, the actor deleted the picture and posted a message
Here’s his tweet:
Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor.Didn’t mean to offend anyone,the picture has been removed
— Akshay Kumar (@akshaykumar) July 24, 2017
We are proud of Akshay that he realized his mistake and immediately sought an apology. As we said earlier, Akshay must not have done this intentionally. He’s a human and mistakes do happen; should we slam him this way for patriotism?
