Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Varanasi today to celebrate win in 2019 elections
Varanasi is getting ready and is waiting for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is expected to visit the holy Varanasi today to celebrate his and his party’s win in the 2019 Lok Sabha General Elections.
Banners, photographs, flyers, and billboards have been set up for the PM at different areas of the City.
Narendra Modi will be serving his second term as the Prime Minister of India, he will be doing a roadshow in Varanasi, which is also his parliamentary constituency, he is expected to address his fellow BJP workers.
Acharya Ashok Dwivedi, the head priest of the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi, is expected to do puja with Prime Minister Narendra Modi later on today.
Acharya Ashok Dwivedi said, “Baba Shiv and Maa Ganga have accepted him. The Prime Minister has blessings of Baba with him. Our Prime Minister is the most respected leader.”
Acharya Dwivedi Ji then added, “This is our fortune that Prime Minister will perform puja with all rituals as he did in 2014 Lok Sabha and state elections. He is the biggest devotee of Vishwanath baba. Even before the rituals start, he devotes himself to god, you can see tears of devotion in his eyes.”
Modi ji will be visiting the Kashi Vishwanath temple by 10 am today, he will also take part in a 5 km long roadshow in Varanasi to celebrate his and his party’s win.
After visiting the Kashi Vishwanath temple, PM Modi will be at the Deendayal Hastkala Sankul to address the BJP workers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi won in Varanasi by 480,000 votes, he was competing against Shalini Yadav, from the Samajwadi Party.
In the 2014 lok sabha elections, BJP won 282 seats in total, and in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the party managed to secure 303 seats.
