As the 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is reaching a half-way stage, teams are trying to find the right combination. In order to find the perfect playing XI they are making some huge changes. Delhi Daredevils skipper Gautam Gambhir stepped down from his captaincy duties owing to his and team’s bad performance. Subsequently, the left-handed batsman was dropped from the playing XI in Delhi’s encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday. Owing to non-performance, Keiron Pollard was dropped by Rohit Sharma against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday. Similarly after a string of bad scores Yuvraj Singh was dropped from playing XI line-up against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday.
Yuvraj Singh managed only 50 runs in four innings and his strike rate is less than 100.
The stylish left hander was replaced by Manoj Tiwary.
Here is how people reacted after he was dropped :
Good to see Yuvraj Singh Sitting Out 😍
Felt Bad For Gambhir But Now Looks OK As He Himself Opted out.
Yuvraj Should Do The same, he’s A Champion and Should Retire with Full Respect Instead of Bagging ✌ #IPL— Knight ♞💜 (@The__Bapu7) April 28, 2018

However Kings XI Punjab lost the game by 13 runs chasing 132 in Hyderbad.
At a press briefing, when a journalist asked R Ashwin for an ‘update’ on Yuvraj Singh, he lost his temper and snapped at the reporter. R Ashwin retorted, “What update… What update? I have told clearly that he has been replaced by Manoj Tiwary.”
Here is the video of his interview:
Kings XI Punjab started this IPL with a bang winning five games out of six games under new captain R Ashwin. However they were handed their second defeat in their last game against Sunrisers Hyderbad. They are currently on third position in the points table. They will next play Mumbai Indians at Indore, KXIP’s new home ground.
