Railway Budget 2015 Highlights: Railway Budget also referred as Rail Budget is the Annual Financial Statement of the state-owned Indian Railways, which handles rail transport in India. It is presented every year by the Minister of Railways, representing the Ministry of Railways, in the parliament. Railway Budget 2015-16 Highlights:
- No increase in passenger fares

- There will be decrease in new trains count when compared to last year. we can expect less that 100 new trains in this rail budget 2015

Out of 676 sanctioned projects only 317 were completed in the last three years. Rs 1.82 lakh crore is required to complete pending projects. Around 13 Lakh employees were working in railways.
