Watch Ravi Shastri Reaction To Morphed Picture Of Taskin And Dhoni

Ahead of Asia Cup Final between India and Bangladesh, Bangladesh fans had morphed a picture of beheaded MS Dhoni head in the hand of Taskin Ahmed. It has gone viral in social media and this is not the first time Bangladesh fans doing this. While the picture is roaming in social media, Indian Cricket Team Director Ravi Shastri had avoided the morphed picture controversy.

Ravi Shastri said ‘I won’t read newspapers.’ The picture was posted by a Bangladesh fan.

When asked about the issue at the pre-match media conference, Shastri said: “I don’t read newspapers. You people read the papers, we should go and play cricket. I don’t have a habit of reading when there are matches around. You read, think about what is written and make your assessments on that. We will only go out there and play cricket.”

This is not the first time a Bangladesh fan has done something like this to the Indian team. Earlier in 2015 when India struggled to cope with pace Mustafizur Rahman, a pic of Mustafizur’s cutter that showed half shaved heads of all the Indian batsmen.
