The launch of Reliance Jio has turned over the entire telecommunications industry in India. It has come with a wonderful idea and offers to its existing customers and later attracted the others to it. Jio has made other network providers to change their plans and offers as they couldn’t survive in front of it.
There has been a huge competition between the Reliance Jio and other network providers in India. People started waiting in long queues for purchasing Jio SIMs. It is also known to be the network provider with cheapest mobile data plans and the mobile tariffs for the Smartphone users in the world.
As a result, Reliance Jio has already started testing its FTTH network in some parts of Pune and Mumbai. But that’s not all. Reliance company is going to bring a fiber to the home (FTTH) wired network service called Reliance Jio GigaFiber. The company also selected 900 cities and towns in India to start this plan.
Reliance Jio FTTH network will offer internet network speeds of up to 1 Gbps to its subscribers. The other telecom companies couldn’t simply sit and wait for Jio to take over them. To stay in the race, BSNL has announced many interesting broadband plans. BSNL BBG 1199 plan offers unlimited local and STD calls with a data speed of 2 Mbps!
Coming to the Reliance Jio GigaFiber Broadband, it starts at Rs 500/month and will offer 600 GB of data at 15 Mbps. According to the Phone Radar, Jio GigaFiber broadband data plans will be available in three types – Silver, Gold, and Platinum. It depends upon the data plans and data volume you prefer.
“The monthly broadband data plans will start at Rs 500 for 600GB of data at 15Mbps speeds. The unlimited data plan will be available for Rs 800 at 10Mbps. There’s also a one-day unlimited plan priced at Rs 400. The speed based monthly plans will start at 50 Mbps with a data cap of 2000 GB. It can go up to 600 Mbps with 300 GB data cap. The volume-based monthly plans will start at 5 GB. It can go up to 60 GB per day.”
