Kicking aside the stereotypic Internet offers, call cutters and other recharge benefits of all the Mobile network companies, Reliance Jio made its grand entry into the country’s market. Within no time, this telecom firm occupied the large parts of domestic businesses. Though Jio made some considerable efforts in attaining the smartphone business, it was not so much successful in that case.
The company provided 3 months of free internet and phone calls to the users for three months from September till January, surprising the whole country the offer was extended to three more months. Now sources claim that Jio might surprise its users once again by extending the free calls to three more months, added from March 31st.
A source from a popular media channel claimed, “Jio subscribers may continue to enjoy data services at a nominal rate, combined with free voice calls, for another three months.”
According to the statistics mentioned earlier, Jio will charge Rs 100 to avail the same internet facilities after the completion of free tenure. Now, when the unauthenticated talks are concerned one should understand that the extended offers will be limited to the calls only.
Earlier on December 1st, Mukesh Ambani stated that the Internet charges after the trial period will be only one-tenth of the existing market rates.
According to the Jio data charts, the effective rates are Rs 50 per GB.
Under Rs 149 plan, users get free voice calls across the country and 100 SMS along with 0.3 GB of 4G data.
Now the maximum plans include Rs 4,999 plan where users get 75GB of 4G data as well as unlimited 4G access at night for a period of 28 days, other plans of Rs 499, Rs 999, Rs 1,499, Rs 2,499, and Rs 3,999 are also available.
