Rajasimha Tadinada, well-known Tollywood writer-turned-director, has attempted suicide by taking sleeping pills in Mumbai recently. He was admitted in a hospital and has been given treatment there, said the reports.“Rajasimha is currently recovering in the hospital where he was admitted in Mumbai, and his state is even now,” added the source. Rajasimha is known in the industry as the dialogue writer of the Anushka Shetty, Allu Arjun and Rana Daggubati starrer period movie, ‘Rudhramadevi.’ He turned into a director with the Telugu movie titled ‘Oka Ammayi Thappa’.
Some of his friends added to the sources that, “He went into a depression as his career hit a road wedge which is why he took this tremendous step.” Rajasimha Tadinada, the dialogue writer, and director, who works in the Telugu film industry and made his directorial debut with Okka Ammayi Thappa in 2016, attempted to commit suicide very recently. Rajasimha Tadinada has worked as a writer for several movies. Rajasimha Tadinada also received a lot of applause for his dialogues in Gunasekhar’s directorial and production venture historical famed Telugu movie ‘Rudhramadevi’ in which Bahhubali and Bhaagamathie fame Anushka Shetty played the lead role and stylish star Allu Arjun played a cameo.
Rajasimha Tadinada penned the dialogues for Gona Gannareddy, Allu Arjun’s character in ‘Rudhramadevi’, that catapulted him to instant recognition. Recently, Rajasimha Tadinada worked for a Kannada film named ‘Bakasura’. According to the latest updates, the writer and director Rajasimha Tadinada tried to commit suicide in Mumbai. The sources say that Rajasimha Tadinada was in depression for more than a year and he is not getting the offers from any of the film Industry. He took a high dose of sleeping pills in the hotel room in Mumbai. That morning Rajasimha Tadinada was found in the unconscious state in a hotel room. More details about his current health status are awaited but it is known that nothing is severe and he is stable for now.
Rajasimha Tadinada has also worked with Dil Raju for some films. Rajasimha Tadinada decided to turn director in 2007. While his early effort a film with producer ML Kumar Chowdary’s son failed to take form in spite of him spending seven months on the project, he later turned attention to write ‘Okka Ammayi Thappa’. Rajasimha Tadinada narrated the story of Okka Ammayi Thappa to Sundeep Kishan in 2012 but when Anji Reddy came forward to produce the movie, Okka Ammay Thappa went on the floor. Nithya Menen played the female lead role and it was almost a hit at the box office.
After the release of ‘Okka Ammayi Thappa’, Rajasimha Tadinada told in an interview that in future he would never restrict himself to a particular genre. Instead, he would try to discover and improve his acting skills in the best way possible. Rajasimha Tadinada also said, the job of the director is to express the theme in every possible way, that it goes and touch the hearts of the audience.
