Recently, the MEA made an announcement of a settlement between India and China regarding the Doklam issue. The Twitter world was buzzing with tweets after the statement that India will be withdrawing troops, whereas China can keep on Patrolling there.
The statement read that a settlement has been reached between the two nations, India will withdraw the troops while China will continue patrolling in the region. Many Twitter users especially news anchors and editors took to Twitter to express their views, however, Sagarika Ghose was trolled for her ignorant tweets.
It was quite natural for this announcement to be a topic of discussion on Twitter and from journalists to the common public, people expressed their opinions on the matter. But Sagarika Ghose didn’t seem to understand the MEA’s statement and tweeted her confused views on the matter.
This made her an object of mockery in the hands of Twitterati who are brilliant when it comes to trolling. Sagarika Ghose tweeted, “India withdraws troops but China will continue patrolling? What about a Chinese withdrawal? Pls, confirm @MEAIndia”
However, people thrashed her for an ignorant tweet.
