With the days passing, we’re only going worse in terms of moral values. These days one cannot pass a day or turn a news paper’s page without acknowledging a molestation or rape incident. After all, a surprising growth is observed in the number of assault cases recently. Despite the strong amendments and stud transformations, authorities are simply unable to tackle the issue persistently.
Though there are certain incidents in which women take the adverse advantage of the leniency of laws that are bluntly against men, there are no unconventional possibilities in the majority of situations. Starting from the assault case that shocked everyone which has happened in Kerala’s Kozhikode, a teen was beaten up in Mumbai’s streets. Now, after all these worst incidents, something on the positive note has happened recently.
Now, a psycho serial rapist and killer, who is believed to have taken the lives of more than eight women, has been nabbed on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Tuesday morning by Byadarahalli police of Ramanagara district. The police are tight-lipped on the details of the alleged rapist as they say they are yet to interrogate him and get the details of how many women he has killed so far.
This man is around 50 years old and he belongs to Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. As per the sources, he killed at least two women after raping them in Bengaluru while six others in the neighboring district and states. Dorai has been in the wanted list of the police for a long time. Based on a tip-off that he is in Byadarahalli, the police team headed by Circle Inspector Sathyanarayana and his team headed to his hideout and managed to nab him. Police said Dorai killed a woman in Peenya and Yeshwanthpur after raping them.
He used to rob jewelry and cash from the home-alone women too. One of the crimes he has committed is said to be in the Byadarahalli police station limits. The superintendent of police, Ramesh B, said, “We are yet to get confirmation on the crimes he has committed, till we get the clarity, I can’t tell anything on record.”
