The brutal gang rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in Kashmir has sparked anger across the whole country.
Asifa Bano went missing on 10th January around east of Jammu city. Asifa went to forest to bring home the horses. The horses returned but Asifa did not. Few days later her body was found in bushes in the forest, a few hundred metres away.
Angry and heartbroken celebrities took to social media to condemn the incident that shocked the nation.
Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi recently made a comment about the Kashmir issue has now spoken about the brutal gang rape of Asifa. He tweeted about the incident in strong words and demanded justice for the 8-year-old victim Asifa and her family.
His tweet read “Whether 6yr old Zainab of Kasur or 8yr old Asifa of Jammu,these barbaric inhumane acts shud b condemned & those behind shud be punished to the max,let these cases be a lesson for the culprits whr no daughter will ever be subjected to this heinous act #NeverAgain #JusticeforAsifa”
