More than his work, the Kerala MP is popular on social media for his amazing speech videos and the use of fancy English words. Shashi Tharoor’s wordy tweets have, time and again, baffled, impressed and intrigued people on social media and generated some hilarious responses.
Right from the “Exasperating farrago of distortions”, he has always been the epitome of trolls and memes on social media. It might be his English or the logical things he perpetuates on the rivals, Shashi Tharoor is always a winner in this space of wisdom and fun. Tharoor has the power of transforming a normal discussion into an erudite one.
There are many instances when people have tried to pull a Tharoor only to fall flat on their faces. This time, Tharoor himself became a prey for the trolls. His vocabulary and the eloquence he possesses never fails to impress people, but sometimes even the best in their field have a little slip up here and there.
Something similar happened with Tharoor recently. The Kerela MP took to Twitter to thank the people for joining him on the Facebook Live but made a shining spelling mistake in the tweet. He wrote, “Delighted to have 20,000 live viewers for my #FacebookLive at lunchtime on New Year’s Day! Those whom missed it can view it at leisure on”

But this tweet came with an error and caught the eyes of many grammar nazis, including Suhel Seth. Within seconds, he tweeted back, informing Tharoor about the mistake.
Happy New Year. And those ‘who’ missed it😂😂😂🙏🙏🙏 or those ‘of’ whom…🙏🙏🙏 https://t.co/WvrjAf4JdA

Now, this was something really fresh and interesting for the Twitterati who has always drooled over Tharoor’s English. The scene changed and people immediately started flooding his timeline with hilarious reactions.

Earlier, Shashi Tharoor posted a tweet wishing people on the eve of Christmas and people didn’t like it as there was nothing interesting and no dictionary words in it.
